For most collegians, they choose major simply out of they pick it randomly, not because they like it. Consequently, most students tend to not attend their classes. This phenomenon has attracted public's attention. Some people think that we should encourage students to choose their favorite major when they go to college for the first time. Some think that our college should open more platform help students to find their favorite subject. For me, I think students should value themselves and make plans for their future study before they go to college.
First, students should try to find what they want to do in the future. When we choose our major, to some extent, our choice will affect our future job planning. So, students should try to figure out what they like and choose the relevant major so that they will learn more from their major.
Second, our college should open all kinds of practical activities to help students to find what they like. There are bunch of students who don't even know what they like. But if colleges open some activities relevant to certain kind of knowledge, then they may easily find what kind of activity goes for them.
In conclusion, students should know what they like in order to choose the major that would be helpful to their career plan. Besides, our college should take some measures to help our students to find the subject they're into.
