Study Manager点评

Ann has learned English in Spiiker for more than 7 months. At the first beginning, she did not speak much English in class. Instead, she preferred to listen. In order to raise her interest to speak more English in class, I suggested teacher Joyce ask something about her daily life which she was very familiar with. During talking, teacher Joyce could teach her how to describe it in English. This method finally proved successful that after 3 months, Ann became more active and confident to express herself in class, and as well, she accumulated more English words.
Compared with 7 months before, Ann becomes more eager to have classes now. She can use more words and more whole sentences to express herself. And her pronunciation is improved as well. She really did a good job and I hope that she can keep doing it!

Tutor点评

I have to say that Ann is really an amazing and adorable girl who makes a rapid progress to make me proud.

I still remember the first English class I had with the little girl, Ann. During class, you really can’t imagine how hard we went through. Such a little girl just focused on her own world and own thoughts without listening to others. When she spoke English, she just said whatever she liked without caring the interaction with her teacher. It seemed impossible to communicate with Ann who carried strong dialect accent even in Mandarin, not speak to in English.

Fortunately, Ann has changed after study. She doesn’t only interact well with teacher Joyce, but also express her own ideas with clear, fluent and correct English. For instance, the reading or conversations etc. in the textbook are a piece of cake for her, she can comprehend and read them out fluently on her own. The dialect influence is no longer a problem for her. In addition, the number of vocabulary she has memerized turns to be pretty satisfying and incredible. As you can see, she is just six years old, but not a little girl any more.

Honestly speaking, I don’t think Ann can improve so much in English without the help of her mother. Every class I can tell her mother’s good assistance from Ann’s terrific preparation. I think Ann should be proud to have such a great mother. Meanwhile, I am proud to have students like Ann.
