How time flies! I’ve been studying at Spiiker for two months. By contrasting those recordings, I know I have made a progress here.

Thanks, Oliver! “We are partners”, I always keep that in mind. And I think we really made good partners during the last two months. I just looked back on my Daily Remarks, and I found you tried to correct my pronunciation of the word “time” for about 11 times. Thanks to your patience and now I can pronounce [ai] correctly, hey hey… Speaking of this case, I sincerely suggest every student here pay attention to your pronunciation while speaking English. To make our pronunciation better, we should know that “Practice makes perfect”. Back to the Daily Remarks thing, I also found encouragement from you, Oliver. I really appreciate your affirmation, you make me feel it’s worthwhile to make the effort. By the way, congratulations on your being awarded Star Teacher.

Steven, you always gave me timely and suitable suggestions. You suggested me follow VOA Special English to practice pronunciation and follow CNN News to expand my vocabulary. You suggested me try to speak slowly so that I got time to organize my words. They did help me a lot, Thank you!

Elvi, you know what? I’m always looking forward to your weekly call. I really feel free to talk with you for you are so thoughtful and considerate. From our talk, I know where and how I can improve myself. Thanks for your suggestions and encouragement, I’ll keep working on it!

Kelly, my new teacher, I like you so much! You are lively and so do I. You are optimistic and so do I.. God, we have so many things in common and I feel time goes quickly when I talk with you. I feel so fortunate that I’m your student, for I really enjoy talking to you!

Still remember at the beginning of the class, your speaking is still 40% Chinese and 60% English, and you can't speak confidently. But after one month practising, you have gained a lot confidence and I have to admit that you did well in my class. I hope you can keep it up in the foreign teacher's class, and I have faith on you.
