I match my style depending on the personality of my student. I like to be creative and use different tools to present the lesson; to be interactive and not just pure lecture. I like my students to do a lot of talking instead of just listening. For them to express ideas and his/her opinion in class. I use methods that will make the different senses work.

Hi! My name is Carmen. I enjoy teaching because a lot of my students become my friends. It's interesting to meet people from different countries and learn about their culture. My former students come from Korea, Japan, Indonesia, Thailand, Mongolia, China, Russia and the Middle East. When I'm not working I enjoy walking around our village while listening to my favorite songs. I enjoy traveling, too. There are many places I would still like to see in the Philippines. And I also hope to visit Greece, Turkey, Europe, Japan, Korea and USA someday. I have been to Hongkong, Singapore, Malaysia, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand and Vietnam. I love chocolates! It's my comfort food. I also like to nibble on chips. Whenever I'm stressed or feeling down I buy myself a bar of dark chocolate and a bag of potato chips. I don't really enjoy partying and loud music. I prefer quiet talks with a good friend in a cozy coffee shop or cafe.
